Students planning to attend graduate or professional programs after graduating from Meredith have access to a number of materials to help them through the application process. Career Planning counselors are here to support you through the graduate school search, application and interview processes. You can schedule an appointment with a counselor at any time.
Graduate School Information Sessions
Students interested in pursuing graduate or professional studies are encouraged to attend information sessions hosted throughout the year. Students should also refer to the timetable for applying to graduate school to keep their plan on schedule. Check for upcoming workshops and events in !
Entrance Test Preparation
Graduate and professional programs typically require some form of entrance exam in admissions requirements (GRE, LSAT, MCAT, PCAT, GMAT). The offers a variety of test prep books at the Circulation Desk, as well as additional online graduate admission test resources.
Free practice tests are recommended to establish a baseline to help you determine the level of preparation you will need. Many companies (i.e. Kaplan Test Prep, Princeton Review, etc.) offer free tests through their website. Practice on the go with test prep apps on your favorite mobile device!
Meet with Graduate School Representatives
Representatives from many graduate and professional programs are available to meet with interested students. Options for talking with these representatives include:

Recommendations & Letters of Reference
Letters of recommendation are often an essential part to a graduate or professional school application. It is important to carefully select references that can testify to your strengths, skills and relevant experiences. When requesting recommendations, it is helpful to provide your faculty, mentors or managers with detailed information about your experiences, motivation for applying to the program, career and academic goals, etc. This allows your references to compose a strong and personal letter to support your application.
