Recommendations & Letters of Reference

Letters of recommendation are often an essential part to a graduate or professional school application.  It is important to carefully select references that can testify to your strengths, skills and relevant experiences. When requesting recommendations, it is helpful to provide your faculty, mentors or managers with detailed information about your experiences, motivation for applying to the program, career and academic goals, etc. This allows your references to compose a strong and personal letter to support your application.
