"I`m married with 3 children. I work in the Pediatric and Infant Nutrition at Duke North. My plans after becoming a dietitian are to work with people to show them how to be healthy where they are and work with athletes of all ages. Also to advocate to the government to put laws in place to drop the amount of sugar allowed in our foods and regulate the quality of food that is allowed to be served. I`m interested in learning how food heals the body. My hobbies include spending time with my family, powerlifting, reading, and exploring the area around us."

Flexibility as a parent of young kids and a person with a full-time job is very important.
