Building Bilingual, Biliterate, and Bicultural Learners!

Verano Latino is an opportunity for elementary students to聽receive Spanish language instruction through fun and engaging, hands-on lessons with a Spanish as a foreign language teacher.

Open to rising second grade through sixth grade students, Verano Latino will develop enthusiasm for learning a new language and to cultivate cultural and global awareness.

Participants will

• Develop enthusiasm for learning a new language and to cultivate cultural and global awareness
• Receive culturally relevant social studies instruction that will build on the cultural and linguistic resources and strengths
• Work with聽Angeles Latinas聽undergraduate students at Meredith

Schedule
The camp will run June 17-21, 2024, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
