Second Strategic Planning Summit Held

The second strategic plan summit, part of the process for creating the next iteration of the Meredith Forever strategic plan, was held on October 26. Faculty and staff were able to participate in person in Jones Auditorium and virtually on Zoom.
President Jo Allen opened the Educational Excellence summit, which includes curricular and co-curricular programs.
To help guide the discussion, Senior Vice President and Provost Matthew Poslusny and Vice President for College Programs Jean Jackson presented about the programs and departments that are included in their divisions.
The presentations were followed with small group discussions. Participants were able to discuss questions relating to curricular and co-curricular opportunities in small groups. This input was captured electronically.Â

Upcoming Strategic Planning Summits
This summit was part of a series of summits focused on each of the plan’s six pillars: pillars. The first summit focused on optimal enrollment. The remaining summits are facilities and IT, financial strength, marketing and visibility, and quality of life. Summits for all six pillars will be completed by the end of February.
