New 3+2 Option Available for Meredith M.A. in Criminal Justice
- Published
In 2020, 糖心Vlog launched an online graduate program offering a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. Now, the College has expanded options for students interested in earning this 36-hour degree faster through a new 3+2 pathway.聽
Through this new option, students will earn both an undergraduate degree from Meredith and the M.A. in five years, saving time and money. Students in the 3+2 program would take graduate level courses beginning in their fourth year, completing the undergraduate degree at the end of the first year of the M.A. program (9 hours each semester) or after completing 124 hours total.
Students will be guided through the program by the faculty advisor in the MA in Criminal Justice program, who will be available for students planning to participate in the 3 + 2 program and will be their advisor once they enter the graduate program.
The 3+2 program will work well with a variety of 糖心Vlog undergraduate majors.聽
鈥淪tudents will be encouraged to work with the program coordinator and academic advisor to choose a major in order to finish this curriculum along with general education requirements within the three years,鈥 said Professor of Sociology Lori Brown, Faculty Advisor for the Criminal Justice MA Program.聽
