糖心Vlog Admissions continues to adapt in order to support prospective students who have had their high school schedules interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

One of the most recent updates is a temporary change in standardized testing requirements.

As a result of the cancellations of the spring and summer administration of the SAT and ACT and the uncertainty of administering equitable test options during the 2020-2021 application cycle, Meredith鈥檚 Admission Committee recommended making the SAT/ACT an optional component of a student鈥檚 application for admission. This recommendation represents a temporary change to application requirements and applies to students entering the College for the spring or fall terms of 2021 only.

The SAT/ACT requirement will be waived for current high seniors who were not able to take the examination聽 because of test center closings and applying for fall 2020 entry to the College.

May 1 is the traditional day for incoming freshmen to declare their college choice. Meredith has recommended that students and families who need additional time to reserve their space in the class because of the impact of COVID-19 reach out to their admission counselor and request an extension.

The enrollment deposit for the Class of 2024 has been adjusted to $175.

The Admissions team has also provided prospective students with numerous ways to connect with the College while traditional on-campus events and tours are suspended, from a series of Virtual Experience Meredith! events to Facebook Live sessions with current students, and an online Virtual Welcome Center.
