Class of 2017 Donors Recognized

The Meredith Fund held a sunset dessert reception on the rooftop deck of the Science and Math Building on May 1, to celebrate donors from the Class of 2017.

To date, the class has raised $6,286 from 90 donors for the renovation of the waiting area in the Counseling Center and Disability Services office. The class voted to support this project to make the space more inviting and accessible for all students who use these services.

Lennie Barton, vice president of institutional advancement, shared remarks and thanked the students for their commitment to their class project.

The senior class gift campaign was led by Autumn Edwards, ’17, Emily Kelleher, ’17, and Dielle McMillan, ’17. In addition, design students from the class designed the layout of the new space, and the class created a piece of artwork at their 17th Night event to hang in the new waiting area.
