Student Success Center Director Shares Spring Opportunities
- Published
Dear ÌÇÐÄVlog parents,
Happy New Year! The Student Success Center has lots of great opportunities for your students this semester.
We’ve just started our Time Management that offer elective credit to students who want to work on their self-regulation and communication skills with our success coaches in the first half of the semester. We’re also offering College Study Skills classes in the second half of the semester. These are a great way for students to work towards the 124 required credits for graduation, brush up on their professional skills, and make strong connections with people on their support team in the Student Success Center. The classes were strategically placed in the library in the late afternoons to avoid schedule conflicts and to cultivate the great habit of getting to the library a couple of times a week.
Is your student still unsure of their major? We’re partnering with StrongPoints and the Office of Career Planning to host an Academic Majors Fair on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10 a.m. in the Cate Center. We’re excited to be marking this opportunity to chat with departments across campus to all of our undecided students. Students will be able to register on.Ìý
As always, the SSC has success coaching and accountability appointments available to all students who need someone with whom to check-in. Students can sign up for help with their academic and graduation planning as well by visiting.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to ensure your student’s success here at ÌÇÐÄVlog!
Sincerely,
Tina Romanelli, Ph.D.
