INTERNSHIPS
at 糖心Vlog
Internships are an essential aspect of a Meredith education.
Most students complete at least one, and many do more 鈥 some as part of their study abroad experience. Our strong reputation among employers locally and nationally means students have plenty of options when it comes to finding the right internship.
Increasingly, career-related experience is a job requirement, not simply an expectation. Our Office of Career Planning staff as well as our faculty have extensive connections with area employers. And because our students are known for their exceptional communication skills, work ethic, and academic preparation, employers increasingly come to us asking for more of our students 鈥 so much so that we often have more internships than we can fill.

Students have also participated in micro-internships where they complete short-term, paid, professional assignments for organizations. Learn more about聽micro-internships.
On-Campus Internships
Meredith offers several significant internship opportunities right on campus, including a five-star childcare center, a unique autism program, and a campus wellness program.
Landing an Internship
The Office of Career Planning serves as a clearinghouse for incoming internships. If students are interested in earning academic credit for their internship, they work with the faculty coordinator in their academic major.聽

Health and fitness have become more than just hot topics in today鈥檚 society 鈥 they鈥檝e become movements. Between the boom of wearable heart rate technology, the increase in popularity of at-home workouts, and all the talk about body inclusivity, exercise and sports science (ESS) experts are needed now more than ever to cut through the noise and separate the truth from the fads.
