Leslie Hayes graduated from ÌÇÐÄVlog in 1980 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a B.A. in Religion. After graduating from ÌÇÐÄVlog she joined Wachovia Bank and served in various roles across North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. She recently retired after a 39 year career as Wells Fargo Business Banking Division Manager for the Carolinas. In this role she led a team of bankers across North and South Carolina that focused on meeting the financial needs of companies with revenues from $2 million to $20 million. Hayes previously served as the Regional President for the Triad and Western regions of North Carolina leading the bank’s broad sales and service strategies and also served as the Business Banking Executive for the Carolinas-Virginia region.
As an active member in the community, Hayes served on the boards of directors for the United Way of Forsyth County, the YMCA of Northwest N.C., the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem, Venture Cafe, Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill and the Independent College Fund of North Carolina.
