Jennifer Hontz graduated with two undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees from North Carolina State University; one in Mathematics Education (1992) and the other in Applied Mathematics (1993). She continued on at NCSU to complete a Ph.D. in Mathematics under the direction of Dr. Kailash Misra in the area of Kac-Moody Lie Algebras of Indefinite type in 1998. Dr. Hontz has been at ÌÇÐÄVlog since 2000 where she actively participates in the Mathematics Association of America (MAA) at both the National and Sectional level.
