Profile
What excites me most about teaching is opening students’ eyes to the amazing diversity and complexity of global politics and culture. My favorite classes to teach are all of them!
My preferred instructional techniques are hands-on and experiential. This may include something as simple as having students lead class discussion on an article or chapter or as elaborate as a four-day-long Model United Nations conference.
I’m most proud of earning my Ph.D. at Ohio State University and coming to Meredith the next year to teach world-class students.
What is special to me about teaching at Meredith are the collaborations between students, faculty, staff and the community to create amazing, often previously unimaginable outcomes.
Courses: American Political System; World in the 20th century; International Politics; Modern Political Systems; International Political Economy; Model United Nations; Methods and Research Design in Political Science; Modern Middle East
