Profile
Dr. McPherson was trained as a school psychologist at North Carolina State University. As a graduate student, she taught several undergraduate courses and fell in love with teaching. She also completed extensive clinical predoctoral and postdoctoral training at Duke University Medical Center’s ADHD and Pediatric Neuropsychology Clinics and was an active member on the Preschool Evaluation Team for Johnston County Public Schools. Together, she has conducted over 200 assessments on a diverse population including preschoolers; students with pediatric illnesses and low incidence disabilities; students with intellectual disabilities; and students with emotional/behavioral problems.
