Since every industry, business, or organization has a communication function, having a communication degree helps prepare you for an endless range and number of career opportunities. Our program offers coursework on subject areas such as human communication, gender studies, digital media, journalism, public relations, and social media.

The discipline itself is broad and lends itself to a practical and applied approach. In our program, we combine a study of theory, principles, and concepts with experiential learning and hands-on skill building. By design, the program will give you a broad overview of the field, yet allow you to focus your interests by pursuing one of three concentrations: interpersonal communication, mass communication, or
