Dr. Holly Woodward (Professor of Anatomy and Paleontology at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa) will be sharing her exciting research on the growth and development of dinosaurs. She studies the microscopic structures found within bone to better understand how extinct animals like dinosaurs lived and grew. To do this, Holly examines signals of growth and life events recorded in the bone tissues of modern animals in order to recognize those signals in fossil bones.
Thursday, October 24th, at 7:00pm, in Kresge Auditorium.
