罢丑别听Broyhill Business Fellows Program听at 糖心Vlog prepares students for top internships and job placements through specially designed leadership and professional-development activities that complement any major field of study in the School of Business.

Student Organizations

Meredith Accounting and Finance Association
The Meredith Accounting and Finance Association was established in 1985 for all students with an interest in the fields of accounting and finance. Informs students of current accounting and finance issues and educates them about career options.

Society for Human Resource Management
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a professional society that allows students to participate in programs that will enhance job skills and networking opportunities. Meredith鈥檚 chapter consistently earned the designation as one of SHRM鈥檚 鈥淭op Ten Chapters鈥� in the United States.

SHRM, which is open to all business majors, is affiliated with the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association.听SHRM听also offers a mentor program, as well as visits to corporate sites. Other opportunities include networking, learning interview skills, and benefiting from professionals鈥� experiences.听SHRM听strives to create a link between the classroom and the professional world.

Honor Societies

Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the International honor society for students enrolled in business programs at听AACSB听accredited institutions.听BGS听is the premiere academic honor society for business administration and accounting majors at Meredith. To be selected for membership, students must be in the top 10% of the junior or senior class, or in the top 20% of the听MBA听class.

Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda is the national organization for all students in post-secondary schools and colleges enrolled in programs designed to develop vocational and professional competencies for听business and office occupations and business teacher education.

Omicron Delta Epsilon
Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE) exists to recognize scholastic attainment and honor outstanding achievements in economics. Students are eligible to join听ODE听when they have completed at least 12 hours of economics courses and have high academic achievement within those courses and in their overall听GPA. Membership in听ODE听is open to any student who is interested in economics.
